This short notice explains how we handle information in connection with our website, consulting inquiries, waitlist, and simulation-only lab demo. It is not a full production privacy program.
1. Who we are
DeFiConnect Ltd operates DeFiConnect.XYZ as a consulting practice for payment and crypto infrastructure and as a product lab. The public lab demo is a simulation of a lowest-bid payments marketplace. No real money movement or licensed money transmission occurs through this site or demo.
2. What we collect
- Waitlist email — when you join early access.
- Role (if provided or set by the form) — e.g. builder, liquidity provider, or both — for segmenting interest.
- Source / signup context — e.g. that the signup came from marketing interest on the site.
- Timestamp of signup.
- Technical basics — standard web logs / hosting analytics that our hosting or tools may process (IP, browser, pages viewed), depending on how the site is deployed.
Consulting inquiries — If you use the consulting inquiry form, we collect your name, email, company, role title, focus area, timeline, and optional note. We use this only to respond about a possible engagement. Submitting an inquiry is not an engagement and does not create a client relationship, pilot, or licensed service.
We do not ask for payment credentials, bank account numbers, or identity documents on the inquiry form or the MVP waitlist.
3. Why we collect it
Waitlist data is collected for marketing interest only: early access invitations, product updates about the simulation MVP, and related outreach. Joining the waitlist does not create a paid pilot, licensed service, or settlement relationship.
4. Sale of data
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
We keep waitlist records while they remain useful for early-access and update communications, and consulting inquiries while they remain useful for responding about a possible engagement, or until you ask us to remove them. Exact retention schedules will be set as we mature.
6. Sharing
We may use infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, email, database) to store or process waitlist data on our behalf. We do not share waitlist emails with banks or processors for cold outreach as a substitute for our own papers and process.
